About ECGE
The East Coast Guitar Expo started in 2017 with a fun inaugural event at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The venue was beautiful and the event was filled with amazing hand crafted guitars, accessories and clinics. The debut event was well received in Hampton Roads and guitar enthusiasts seemed to enjoy the offerings.
The second year of the show brought us to the Chesapeake Conference Center. The news was out which brought us new and returning vendors with exceptional items that highlighted their craftsmanship. A highlight of the the weekend was a performance by Master Luthier and National Heritage Award Recipient Wayne Henderson!
2019's event will focus on the acoustic luthier in a more intimate setting. A concert featuring the hand crafted guitars from the areas best luthiers will be followed by a reception to not only speak to the makers, but play their wonderful works of musical art.
